Karla Nuñez is originally from Bolivia and brings a unique perspective to her work in the immigration field, shaped by her own personal journey through the K-1 fiancé visa and adjustment of status processes. Although she did not formally study law, her immigration experience motivated her to enter the legal field and support others seeking stability and opportunity in the United States. Karla holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in water treatment from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón, where she graduated in 2019.
Karla currently works at an immigration law firm in Virginia, where she assists with family-based petitions, K-1 visa cases, adjustment of status applications, case preparation, and client communication. She is dedicated to ensuring that immigrants feel supported, informed, and safe throughout the legal process. Her community involvement includes offering guidance on immigration forms and requirements, drawing from both her professional training at Tucker, Nong & Associates and her own experience as an immigrant. She also previously contributed to public service initiatives and event coordination for the Municipal Government of Quillacollo in Bolivia.
Outside of her professional work, Karla enjoys traveling, makeup, learning new things, watching movies, and spending time with her husband. She is deeply connected to her family in Bolivia, who continue to inspire her perseverance and personal growth. Her lived experience, compassion, and commitment to respectful and patient communication shape the care she brings to every client interaction.
