Audrey Vorhees is an Associate Attorney with Tucker, Nong & Associates, focusing on removal defense and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases.
Audrey graduated magna cum laude from American University’s Global Scholars Program in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, a policy specialization in Peace and Conflict Resolution, and a regional specialization in sub-Saharan Africa. She also graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution. She obtained her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in 2021, where she served for a full year as a Student Attorney with the Immigrant Justice Clinic and spent a summer as a Law Clerk with a private immigration firm’s Removal Defense Team. She is barred in Washington, DC.
Audrey has been passionate about serving immigrant communities in various capacities for over a decade. Prior to attending law school, Audrey worked in refugee resettlement in the greater DC area, Tallahassee, FL, and Nairobi, Kenya. As a Student Attorney, Audrey was able to spend some time at the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, TX, where she conducted “Know Your Rights” trainings with the women detained there. She is passionate about obtaining positive outcomes in Immigration Court and believes in the importance of fostering a great working relationship with her clients.
Audrey has basic conversational proficiency in Swahili and is learning Spanish.
